On 4 June 2026, I visited the research team led by Prof. Jie Chen at the School of Geosciences and Info-Physics, Central South University, for a research presentation and discussion.
During the session, I shared two studies: "Explainable second-dimension spatial association between park sentiment and built-social environments" (ESDA) and "Focal-Feature Regression Kriging" (FFRK). I also introduced Prof. Yongze Song, the Geospatial Intelligence Lab, and our team's work at Curtin University. The discussion with Prof. Chen and his doctoral students covered these studies and related geospatial research topics.
After the session, Prof. Chen hosted dinner with members of his research team. The visit also included photographs outside the School of Geosciences and Info-Physics and at the Geosciences Building.
